Best Kept Secret in Child Care Training by Micki Lechner-Riehle

Recently I had the opportunity to “attend” 5 unique training sessions for Child Care Providers.  The courses are each worth 5 hours of training, but I attended at my convenience from the comfort of my home, and the training topics were vital to operate a successful child care business.  By now most providers are familiar with online training, but these classes are a bit different; you log on any time day or night and the course will pick up where you left off.  You can complete the course in 1 day, 1 week, or 2 months.  The instructor (Tom Copeland) will answer any questions you have during the course by email.  And a book is included in the cost for the course so after finishing you have valuable resource to consult when questions arise.  Your certificate is printed immediately upon successful completion of the course, so there is no waiting for the official document.  Finally, if you need college credit, participants can receive college credit from Metropolitan State University for an extra $25 -which is a phenomenal bargain for college credit.
And Tom Copeland’s business trainings really are the best kept secret in Family Child care; if you follow the techniques outlined in his books you will operate a more successful business.  The classes available are:  Money Management and Retirement Planning, Legal and Insurance Issues for Family Child Care, Record Keeping and Taxes for Family Child Care, Contracts and Policies for Family Child Care, and Marketing your Family Child Care Business.  For more information or to register go to www.rcclearningcenter.org  and by all means, do tell this secret!
